Infor Acquires Mapics
Infor announced that the acquisition of MAPICS was completed as of April 18, 2005. Infor is now the largest enterprise software provider exclusively focused on solving the essential challenges of select verticals in the manufacturing and distribution industries.

Infor's acquisition of MAPICS creates one of the largest enterprise software companies in the world who are focused on delivering world-class Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Supply Chain solutions to the manufacturing and distribution industries. With the acquisition of Mapics, Infor will be able to expand its manufacturing solutions and increase its ability to compete globally. The combined company will have more than 17,500 customers in over 70 countries.
